In math we have been learning about discounts and how they work, a discount is when you take away a percentage of money from the original price.

In math today we learnt about GST and how to find it. To find GST you have to multiply the price by .15

Because people like to see the art that they create, it gets people's attention and it just makes the streets look better.

Because they can bring the vibe of a place up and make it look more appealing.

English Film Language

English- Film language

Settings: used to often progress stories and describe the surroundings.

Dialogue: Used to either elevate a plot or reveal something new about a character.

Sound effects: Used to create a mood for the audience or emphasize a scene. 

Music: Also used to set a mood or describe an ongoing scene.

Silence: Used to create a serious atmosphere or sincerity in acting.

Symbols: Often an object, used to suggest new ideas.

Special effects: Used to create a more realistic look for the film.

Body language- Used to identify the feelings of the played character.

Costumes- Used to either describe the personality of a character.

Hairstyles- Similar to costumes it  is often used to tell the personality of the character.

Make-up- Either describes or transforms an actor to match the played character.

Colours- Set the mood like blue is used as sad and red is used for angry.

Lightning- Used to set a mood and often makes something important to stand out

Props- Used to make a scene more interactive and realistic.

A recipe for disaster 

• First day of school

Ingredients: A cup of slight sleeping in, one cup of car not starting, ¾  a cup of rain and wind,and ½ a cup of BAD hair day.

Start off your dish by setting your time to 7:40 and add your cup of sleeping in, once you have done that get a large bowl and add in your ½ a cup of BAD hair day! This ingredient is key to your disastrous day. Combine your cup of car not starting and ¾ cup of rain and wind and then mix together. Once you have combined all ingredients together spoon into a cake tin and put in the oven for 30 minutes, once cooked you will have your disastrous first day of school.

Brain- Strokes are increased by 50%

Heart- Heart attacks, heart disease, Damaged blood vessels

Stomach- Stomach cancer and ulcers

Mouth- Stained teeth, Bad breath, gum disease

Skin- Dry and dull skin

Fertility- It can cause reproduction issues

Bones- Cause weak bones
