Lawyer paragraph- How Iqbal lost his human rights
Iqbal lost his human rights when he was forced into child labour. His sister was getting sold by his dad but he worried for her because she wasn't as strong as he was, so he offered to get sold instead. He got put into a carpet factory where if he did not obey his master, he would be put into a tortured chamber. Iqbal had to pay more than what he was sold for which was $26 and every carpet he made was worth $12. Once Iqbal had payed off his money he still wasn't allowed to leave so he got frustrated and decided to rip up a carpet, When his master saw what he did Iqbal got tortured.. threatened, cut by knives, and bruised by Hussein khan. All that Iqbal got to eat was a small piece of bread and a tiny bit of water, whilst his master ate full meals of chicken and vegetables. Iqbal escaped and started protesting for human rights. Three years later after protesting carpet makers were thought of killing him and he was shot and killed due to the Taliban.
